Victor Boniface market value soars by 230%, becomes second most valuable Nigerian after Osimhen
Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface’s market value has risen by as much as 230%, from the €12m he was valued before the start of the 2023/24 season to an astronomical €40m following the update Wednesday on the Bundesliga market values by transfermarkt.
The 22-year-old Nigerian has made a blistering start to his Bayer Leverkusen career with nine goal involvements in his first seven Bundesliga games added to Player of the Month and two Rookie awards.
He scored a debut goal in the DFB Cup and registered a debut assist in the Bundesliga before hitting braces in each of his next two German top-flight outings. He became only the second ever player – and first since Erling Haaland in January 2020 – to win both the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month and Player of the Month awards in the same month when he collected both gongs for August 2023.
He added the September Rookie award to his collection, helped by another brace against Heidenheim.
Transfermarkt market value admin Julius Weißenstein says the Nigerian is a total package.

The Nigerian is in contention for his second Bundesliga Player of the month award for September.
