Victor Osimhen’s market value soars to €70m

Ademola Lookman jumps from €10m to €20m

Serie A’s top scorer, Victor Osimhen’s market value has soared to a career high €70m following the update of the Italian topflight’s market value on Thursday.

The Nigerian’s valuation jumped by €5m to move from €65m to €70m, the highest any Nigerian has been so valued since transfermarkt began operation.

The 23 year old who has scored nine goals in 13 appearances across all competitions is now the joint fourth most valuable player in the Serie A behind AC Milan’s Rafael Leão (€85m), Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović whose valued actually dropped by €5m to €80m and Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez (€70m).

Osimhen is not the only Nigerian whose market value soared.

Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman who has scored six times and bagged three assists in 14 Serie A games this term is now worth €20m, up 100% from €10m.

Cremonese forward Cyriel Dessers’ value remains unchanged at €6m while teammate, David Okereke’s value dropped by €200k to €4.3m.

Udinese forward Isaac Success who has provided three assists in 16 games in his first season in the Italian topflight moved from €3m to €4m

Torino right back, Ola Aina’s value is still unchanged at €3.5m, same as Tyronne Ebuehi who has been recalled to the Super Eagles team for the Portugal friendly next week.

The 26 year old Ebuehi has maintained his €1.4m valuation he has had since December 2021.
