‘We Never Stopped Believing,’ Says Gyökeres as Arsenal Go Six Points Clear

Viktor Gyökeres was the star of the show as Arsenal brushed aside Fulham 3-0 at the Emirates, a result that tightened their grip on the Premier League title race.
The striker, who has scored at least 10 more goals than any other Arsenal player this season, spoke afterwards of the team’s belief: ‘We never stopped believing. We’re not going to. That’s how it is and we keep going.’
Gyökeres’ impact was emphatic. He has now become only the third player in the Premier League this season to reach 20+ goals across all competitions, joining Erling Haaland (35) and Igor Thiago (25).
For the first time in his Arsenal career, he was directly involved in three or more goals in a single Premier League game, underlining his growing influence.
The victory also extended Arsenal’s remarkable record against Fulham. The Gunners are unbeaten in all 33 of their home league meetings with the Cottagers, the longest such streak in English Football League history, with no other fixture producing so many games without a home defeat.
With the win, Arsenal moved six points clear at the top of the table. Manchester City still have two games in hand, but Gyökeres’ form and Arsenal’s momentum are keeping the title race firmly in their control as the season heads into its final stretch.
