‘We will be back stronger and better,’ says Rivers Hoopers’ Olisemeka after first loss in four games

Rivers Hoopers center Peter Olisemeka says that they will be back better and stronger on Saturday against APR despite suffering their first loss of the season of the Sahara Conference of the 2024 BAL championships.

The Nigerians had picked up three straight wins in their first three games, including the opening game victory over Friday evening’s victor, AS Douanes.

‘It’s one of those nights where things don’t always go as planned,’ said Olisemeka who recorded his first BAL double-double of 16 points and 18 rebounds.

‘We are going to come back stronger,’ he added.

AS Douanes will face US Monastir on Saturday.
