West Ham Vs Fulham: Iwobi seeking to become fifth Nigerian with a century of Premier League wins

Alex Iwobi will be seeking to become the fifth Nigerian to secure a century of Premier League wins when he files out for Fulham against West Ham at the
London stadium on Sunday.

Iwobi will be keen on Fulham’s return to winning ways after losing their last two games.

If Fulham wins and the former Arsenal and Everton player plays, it will be his 100th win in 248 appearances in the competition. He will automatically become
the fifth Nigerian to secure at least a 100th Premier League win.

Chelsea legend, Mikel Obi tops the list with 149 wins in 249 appearances and he is followed by former Arsenal star, Nwankwo Kanu who has 113 wins in 273
games.

Shola Ameobi is third with 105 wins in 298 games and Victor Moses fourth with 103 wins in 220 Premier League appearances.

The 28 year old will also be keen to finally find that assist that will draw him level with Kanu as the Nigerians with the most assists in Premier League
history.

That lone assist he is seeking for has eluded him since last December when he provided one for Willian for Fulham’s second goal in the 5-0 annihilation of
West Ham at Craven Cottage.

That was Iwobi’s only assist so far this term but he will feel confident he can get another against the Hammers who he has bagged five assists against in 13
appearances.
Iwobi has provided 28 assists in 247 Premier League appearances.

Last week, Iwobi supplanted Mikel as the Nigerian with the most minutes played in the Premier League.
