Zola gives Chelsea given ‘green light’ to sign ‘complete player’ Osimhen
Former Chelsea star, Gianfranco Zola says Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is the real deal and has given the west London side the green light to sign the 24 year old.
Osimhen has featured 22 times for Napoli this term and his 17 goals in 18 matches have guided Napoli 15 points clear of second-placed Inter Milan in the race to win the Scudetto.
The Nigerian who is also the top scorer in the league is attracting the interest of Europe’s biggest clubs with Chelsea, Man United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Bayern Munic and PSG linked with the former Lille of France striker.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Zola believes “Chelsea would have a lot of competition’ for the Nigerian but has advised Todd Boehly, the club’s co-owner to splash the cash on the ‘complete player’ Osimhen.
“He’s a complete player. He’s a pest. I don’t know what is going to happen. We will see. I think the task in the Premier League would be different to the Italian league.”
