Napoli President De Laurentiis: I will never listen to offers for Osimhen!

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis says he is not ready to listen to offers for Victor Osimhen this summer as he intends to build on the succeeses the
club has recorded this season.
Osimhen scored the goal that sealed the club’s first Scudetto in 33 years when he scored the equalizer at Udinese and his 22 goals in 27 games propelled
Napoli to be in a position to win the title.
De Laurentiis brought the Nigerian to Napoli from Ligue 1 side, Lille in September 2020 and wants to hold on to his prized asset for at least one more
season.
When asked if he would listed to offers for the striker following reports linking him to top Premier League, Ligue 1, LaLiga and Bundesliga sides, the Napoli
boss said he would not.
‘No, never!,’ said De Laurentiis.
Since his arrival in Napoli, Osimhen has netted 55 times and bagged 14 assists in 96 games for the club with 46 of the goals coming in 78 games while five
came in six UEFA Champions League matches.
The Nigerian scored four times in eight Europa League matches and will be seeking to score his first in the Italian Cup next season.
The 24 year old is the top scoring African in a single Serie A season and joint all-time African top scorer with Liberia’s George Weah.
Osimhen will not be seeking to end the season as the first African to end a single Serie A season as top scorer. He has scored 22 times in 27 appearances, three more than Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.
