Lagos Street Soccer seals broadcasting partnership with LTV

The Lagos Street Soccer has sealed partnership collaboration with foremost state owned media outlet Lagos Television for the broadcast of Lagos Street Soccer
championship matches.
Led by the Lagos State Football Association chairman, Ogboni Fouad Alade Oki who was accompanied by Lagos Street Soccer Committee chairman Bolaji Yusuf and
other members of the committee the team were received by General Manager, Lagos Television, Adesola Kosoko.
The visit was to initiate official partnership collaboration and also to consolidate on existing relationship between the Lagos FA and LTV as the 2023 Lagos
Street Soccer Championship’s kick off draws nearer.
Oki affirmed the need and readiness of his Lagos FA board to work in tandem with the indigenous station to build a sustainable foundation for a vibrant
football industry and culture in order to reposition Lagos as the leading sports destination in Africa.
‘Today, sports and football in particular is going down and we are trying to apply CPR to bring it back and begin to help the sector to regain the stage that
it should be.
‘One of the way to do it, is to collaborate in bringing to various homes, football from the nooks and crannies of Lagos State and if there is any television
station that can do justice to that, it is the people’s station, LTV,’ he said.
Through a collaborative partnership in broadcasting of iconic Lagos Street Soccer and other football competitions Oki stated that the Lagos FA is ready for
meaningful engagement and development from the grassroots which could generate revenues for both parties.
‘For us to develop football, we must work together, we must take football into the homes of every Lagosian either by streaming on social media or
conventional media and this is why we are here and I therefore urge you to take advantage of our offer and let’s work together’, Oki concluded.
