Osimhen’s mask banned at stadia on match days in Turkey!

Galatasaray have announced that the replica of Victor Osimhen’s mask, which they put up for sale, will not be allowed in the stadium on match days due to sports law.

Galatasaray put the mask, which is identified with the Nigerian, on sale in club stores.

‘The iconic mask of the great Galatasaray fan, Victor Osimhen, continues to attract great attention at GSStore!

‘We would like to thank you for your great interest in our mask and would like to make an important reminder for a safe match enjoyment. In accordance with the sports law, we would like to inform you that masks will not be allowed in the stadium on match days and we ask that this rule be taken into account in terms of compliance with the stadium rules.

‘We strongly recommend that you take the necessary precautions for your safety and compliance with the stadium rules. We wish you enjoyable and safe match days,’ read a statement the club issued on Friday.

Osimhen is not expected to play when Galatasaray host Alanyaspor in a Super Lig match week eight game on Sunday at the Rams Global Stadyumu in Istanbul due to an injury.
