Inter Milan Track Akinsanmiro’s Rise After Pisa Loan Success

Inter Milan are keeping a close eye on Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro as he continues to impress during his loan spell with Pisa.

The 21-year-old has grown steadily into his role in Serie A, earning praise for his physical strength, composure, and maturity in midfield.

Akinsanmiro had already caught attention last season at Sampdoria, where he was one of the few bright spots in a campaign that ended with survival through the relegation play-offs.

Inter’s decision to send him out on loan has proven wise, with Pisa head coach Alberto Gilardino gradually increasing his responsibilities and trusting him to anchor the team’s midfield.

Currently away on international duty with Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, Akinsanmiro described his call-up as a dream come true. He admitted he was moved to tears when the invitation arrived, having missed out previously due to injury during World Cup qualifiers.

Inter remain invested in his progress, with a clause in the Pisa deal allowing them to block the Tuscan club’s €7m purchase option by paying just €1m.

This underlines the Nerazzurri’s belief in his long-term potential. Strong in duels, resilient under pressure, and improving with each game, Akinsanmiro’s development is being closely monitored as he builds his profile step by step.
