‘Osimhen Very Valuable Player for Us’: Teammate Hails Eagles Star After Win Vs Juventus

Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara has hailed Victor Osimhen, following his contribution to the team’s 5-2 win over Juventus in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

Although Osimhen was not on target in the win, he bagged a pair of assists for Galatasaray in the first-leg of their Playoff qualifier at the RAMS Park against the Italian side.

Sara, who won the best player award on the night, starred in the victory.

The Brazilian gave the Turkish Super Lig champions the lead in the 15th minute and also provided an assist in the game.

Osimhen set up Noah Lang for the fourth goal and also teed up substitute Sacha Boey for the last goal of the game.

After the game, Sara saluted the Nigeria international for his impact in the game.

“It’s an incredible reward. The team’s effort was the most important thing. I’m happy about my goal too. I worked very hard for it. We’re having an amazing night,” Sara told the club’s official website.

“Osimhen is also a very valuable player for us. We knew it would be very difficult. Football can be very unforgiving. We will be playing in Italy and it will be tough. We need to be careful and continue our success. ”

The return leg holds in Turin next week.
