New Venezia forward Akor Adams has revealed why he chose to join the Italian club, saying he was attracted by the ambitious project being built at the club and wants to play a role in shaping its future.

‘I chose to come here because I can see the incredible project Venezia is building, and I want to play my part in writing the next chapter of the club’s history,’ Adams said.

The Nigerian striker also praised Venezia’s supporters, describing their passion and unwavering support as unique.

‘I’ve watched many videos of the matches, and I’ve been really impressed by their unwavering support,’ he said.

Adams believes Venezia belongs in Serie A and is proud to become part of a club whose supporters have remained loyal through the years.

‘I believe this team deserves to be in Serie A. That’s where this club belongs, especially considering the loyalty and passion the fans have shown over the years,’ he added.
