Sevilla Confirm Akor Adams’ Transfer to Venezia

Sevilla have confirmed the departure of Nigerian striker Akor Adams, who has completed a move to Italian Serie A club Venezia.
The Spanish club reached an agreement with Venezia for the transfer of the 26-year-old forward, bringing his spell in Seville to an end after 37 appearances, 10 goals and four assists.
Adams joined Sevilla during the 2024/25 winter transfer window from French club Montpellier and enjoyed his most productive campaign in 2025/26, when he registered all of his goal contributions for the club.
His time at Sevilla also saw him make his debut for the Nigerian national team and establish himself as a regular member of the Super Eagles squad.
Adams has earned 15 international caps and scored six goals for Nigeria, including a notable contribution during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Super Eagles won the bronze medal.
He will now continue his career in Italy with Venezia as he begins a new chapter in Serie A.
