Mayweather Confirms Fourth Comeback, Eyes Professional Return After Tyson Exhibition

Floyd Mayweather has confirmed he will come out of retirement for the fourth time later this year, setting the stage for a dramatic return to the ring.

The 48-year-old former world champion is already scheduled to face Mike Tyson in an exhibition bout this spring, pitting two of boxing’s biggest names against each other.

But Mayweather has now revealed that he will step back into professional boxing after that event, marking his first sanctioned fight since defeating MMA star Conor McGregor in 2017 with a 10th-round technical knockout.
That victory secured his 50th career win and preserved his undefeated record.

Mayweather, who won titles in five different divisions, said in a statement: ‘I still have what it takes to set more records in the sport of boxing.’ His opponent for the comeback fight has yet to be announced.
