Emotional Choreography Honours Osimhen’s Mother Before Liverpool Clash
Galatasaray fans produced one of the most emotional moments of the season when they unveiled a powerful choreography dedicated to Victor Osimhen before the Liverpool clash at Rams Park.
The north stand displayed an image of Osimhen’s late mother alongside a depiction of the striker in a Galatasaray jersey holding the hand of a child in Nigeria, symbolising his roots and struggles.
The message across the choreography read: ‘We are family and family is everything.’
The gesture visibly moved Osimhen, who was seen in tears as he approached the stand to acknowledge the supporters.
He quickly repaid their tribute on the pitch, providing the assist for Mario Lemina’s seventh minute winner.
The stadium was decorated with Yellow and Red flags and banners, while Liverpool fans also contributed to the atmosphere by unveiling a banner quoting Mustafa Kemal Atatürk: ‘Peace at home, peace in the world.’
