Saka, Dembélé Headline UEFA Champions League Team of the Week

The UEFA Technical Observer Group has unveiled its Champions League Team of the Week, featuring standout performers from all four semi-finalists after the dramatic second-leg clashes.

Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain dominate the lineup, with Bayern and Atlético Madrid also represented.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya earns his spot after keeping a ninth clean sheet of the campaign, highlighted by a sharp save from Antoine Griezmann. His teammate William Saliba impressed with eight clearances, while Declan Rice stood out for his positional awareness and crucial blocks.

Bukayo Saka sealed Arsenal’s place in the final with his rebound finish.

Paris were equally influential. Willian Pacho showed defensive discipline against Bayern, while Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia provided attacking flair. Kvaratskhelia’s assist for Ousmane Dembélé was his sixth of the campaign, while Dembélé himself continued his hot streak with another clinical finish.

Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich kept his side ticking with 71 completed passes, while Luis Díaz ranked first for ball carries over 10 metres and created three key chances.

Atlético’s Marc Pubill showcased resilience with tackles, clearances, and key passes, embodying their defensive grit.
