Lookman Back on the Up After Transfermarkt Update, Akor Adams Hits Career-High Valuation

Ademola Lookman’s market value has risen from €35 million to €40 million following Transfermarkt’s latest update on La Liga players released on Monday.
The Nigerian forward, who joined Atlético Madrid earlier this year, remains the second most valuable Nigerian footballer behind Victor Osimhen, currently valued at €75 million.
Lookman is looking to rebuild his value after a dip last year. He previously reached a career-high valuation of €60 million between March and June 2025 before dropping to €40 million in October and €35 million in December.
Strong performances for club and country could see him return to that peak.
Another Nigerian striker, Akor Adams, also saw his value rise by €5 million to €12 million, his highest market valuation to date.
Adams, who impressed at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, now ranks 961st among all players worldwide, 102nd in La Liga, second at Sevilla FC, and 12th among Nigerian players. He is ranked 141st among centre-forwards globally and 112th among players born in 2000.
Meanwhile, Sevilla’s Chidera Ejuke’s market value remains unchanged at €4 million.
