Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe Linked as Atlético Set €50m Valuation on Lookman

Atlético Madrid have placed a €50 million price tag on Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, opening the door to a possible summer transfer just months after his arrival from Atalanta.

The former African Footballer of the Year joined Diego Simeone’s side with high expectations following an impressive spell in Italy, where his pace, direct running, and versatility made him one of Atalanta’s most decisive attacking players.

However, adapting to Simeone’s demanding tactical system has proven challenging. While Lookman contributed nine goals and four assists in 24 appearances across all competitions, questions remain over his defensive discipline and off-the-ball work rate, qualities central to Atlético’s style of play.

Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that Atlético are prepared to entertain offers around €50 million, a valuation that reflects both his market appeal and the club’s willingness to reshape their attacking options.

The situation has already attracted interest from Turkey, with Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe monitoring developments. Galatasaray, in particular, are keen to reunite Lookman with compatriot Victor Osimhen, who has become a cornerstone of their squad.
