Arne Slot Admits Osimhen Exit Helped in Liverpool’s 4–0 Win

Liverpool advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals with a commanding 4-0 victory over Galatasaray at Anfield.
The English side dominated from start to finish, scoring freely and controlling possession, while their opponents struggled to recover after losing star forward Victor Osimhen early in the game.
Osimhen, who picked up an injury in the ninth minute and was withdrawn at halftime, was singled out by Liverpool coach Arne Slot in his post-match comments.
‘Osimhen is an incredible player. It was useful for us that he came out injured,’ Slot admitted.
‘Osimhen has shown that he can score goals many times in his career. It’s not nice to see a player injured. He is a player who is effective in Galatasaray’s performance.’
