Osimhen Chooses Hospital Stay to Speed Recovery, Galatasaray Hails Sacrifice

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been praised for making what the club considers a significant sacrifice in his bid to return to action quickly following arm surgery.

According to TV100 commentator Haluk Yürekli, Osimhen underwent surgery last Monday morning, with initial reports suggesting he would be discharged the following day.

However, the Nigerian forward requested to remain in the hospital, insisting that his post-surgery care be handled there to accelerate his recovery.

‘Victor Osimhen asked the managers and said, ‘I don’t want to be discharged, I want my care to be done here to return earlier,’’ Yürekli revealed.

In a further show of commitment, strict security measures were enforced around Osimhen’s hospital room, with even members of his close circle denied access. He was eventually discharged at noon today.

Galatasaray officials view the decision as a demonstration of Osimhen’s dedication to the team, believing that his choice to endure the discomfort of an extended hospital stay rather than the convenience of home recovery underscores his determination to return to the pitch as soon as possible.
