Ex-Arsenal Star, Nasri Faces €5.5m Tax Claim in France

Former France international Samir Nasri has come under investigation by French tax authorities, with reports alleging he owes €5.5 million.

According to Les Echos, officials suspect Nasri of evading taxes by declaring residency in Dubai while continuing to spend most of his time in France.

Investigators reportedly uncovered evidence that the ex-Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder ordered 212 meals via Deliveroo to his Paris residence in 2022.

Airline records also suggest frequent domestic travel within France.

Authorities have moved to seize one of Nasri’s properties and freeze his bank accounts to assess his solvency.

Nasri, who retired from playing in 2021 and later became a pundit for Canal+’s Champions League coverage, disputes the allegations.
