NNL Super Four Kicks Off in Ikenne as Lagos Clubs Face Northern Rivals

The 2025/26 Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four tournament kicks off on Monday at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State, with Sporting Lagos, Inter Lagos, Doma United and Ranchers Bees set to battle for supremacy.
All four clubs have already secured promotion to next season’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), but pride and prestige will be at stake as they contest the ₦10 million winner’s prize.
Each team is guaranteed ₦2 million in participation fees.
The opening match will see Sporting Lagos face Ranchers Bees at 2 p.m., followed by Doma United against Inter Lagos at 4 p.m. The competition will also enforce professional standards, with clubs required to present their head coach and one player for both pre-match and post-match press conferences.
Sporting Lagos and Inter Lagos will aim to fly the flag of the commercial capital, while Doma United and Ranchers Bees – owned by Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq – will look to assert themselves as champions.
As the curtain rises in Ikenne, the spotlight falls on whether Lagos, with its two formidable sides, can seize the moment, or if seasoned contenders like Ranchers Bees will tilt the balance in their favour.
