PSG Star Kvaratskhelia: ‘We Are Not Thinking About Arsenal’ in Champions League Final

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia insists Paris Saint-Germain are focused on themselves rather than their opponents as they prepare for the Champions League final against Arsenal.
Speaking to TNT Sports after PSG’s 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich sealed a 6-5 aggregate victory, the Georgian winger said:
‘We are not thinking about Arsenal. We respect all of the teams. For us, it’s important to play our game. We don’t really think about who is going to be our opponent, we just prepare our game and give everything on the pitch. It will be difficult, it’s the Champions League final, and we just have to go and enjoy it.’
Kvaratskhelia also reflected on his role in PSG’s early breakthrough at the Allianz Arena, when he set up Ousmane Dembélé’s opener inside four minutes:
‘I think it was very important that was scored very fast. I saw Dembélé was alone and I just had to give him the ball. He produced a very good finish. We’re proud of him and all of the team because we fought today and the team spirit was amazing.’
The winger emphasised the pride within the squad after reaching back-to-back finals:
‘We’re very proud we’ve done it again. We will have to be ready for the final, it’s the best game in our life and we will give everything for this club.’
PSG will now face Premier League leaders Arsenal in Budapest on May 30, aiming to defend their crown and secure consecutive Champions League triumphs.
