Çelikler: No European Club Will Pay €150m for Osimhen

Turkish football pundit Serdar Ali Çelikler has cast doubt over the possibility of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen leaving Galatasaray this summer, citing the enormous financial demands attached to any potential transfer.

Osimhen has enjoyed a remarkable campaign with the Turkish giants, scoring 59 goals in 74 appearances across all competitions and establishing himself as one of Europe’s most prolific forwards.

His performances have reportedly attracted interest from elite clubs including Arsenal and Real Madrid.

However, speaking on the Neo Spor YouTube channel, Çelikler insisted that the financial package required to secure the striker’s services could discourage potential suitors.

‘No one in Europe would pay 150 million Euros in transfer fees and 21 million Euros in net salary for Osimhen,’ he said via Habersarikirmizi.

Çelikler suggested that any club interested in signing the former Napoli and Lille forward would likely need to negotiate a significantly reduced deal.

‘If they offer between 75-100 million Euros in transfer fees, and Osimhen agrees to reduce his salary to 10 million Euros, then they could acquire him,’ he explained.

The pundit further noted that Osimhen could remain in Istanbul until the expiration of his contract if suitable financial terms are not met during the upcoming transfer window.

‘Osimhen would stay until his contract expires,’ he stated.

Osimhen’s current deal with Galatasaray runs until the summer of 2029, leaving him with about three years remaining.
