Osimhen Enjoying Life at Galatasaray but Keeps Future Open
Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has expressed his happiness at Galatasaray while leaving the door open regarding his future, as speculation continues to swirl ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Super Eagles striker enjoyed a remarkable campaign with the Yellow and Reds, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
His performances were instrumental in helping Galatasaray defend their league crown, while also attracting interest from several European giants including Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking in a video message, Osimhen said: ‘For me, I am happy there. So, that’s the most important thing but you never know what the future might bring.’
His words have only added to the intrigue surrounding his next career move.
Reflecting on his time in Istanbul, Osimhen highlighted his spectacular bicycle kick against Antalyaspor in October 2024 as his favourite goal in Galatasaray colours.
‘It was when I first joined. I scored a bicycle kick against Antalyaspor. We won the match’ he recalled. The strike, which helped secure a 3-0 victory, remains a standout moment from his early days at Rams Park after joining on loan from Napoli.
