Besiktas Target Mandragora as Ndidi Eyes Saudi Arabia Move

Besiktas are preparing for a possible midfield shake-up as Wilfred Ndidi attracts interest from Saudi Arabian clubs.

Reports suggest that the Black Eagles have already lined up Fiorentina’s Rolando Mandragora as a replacement, with new head coach Vincenzo Italiano pushing for the move.

Ndidi, who joined Beşiktaş from Leicester City last season, could depart after just one year if lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia materialize.

Determined not to be caught off guard, Besiktas have added Mandragora to their transfer shortlist. The Italian midfielder, 28, has been a key figure at Fiorentina since joining from Juventus in 2022, working closely with Italiano for two seasons.

Mandragora’s performances last season underline his value: 47 appearances across competitions, with eight goals and five assists. His versatility and experience across Serie A clubs including Torino, Udinese, Crotone, Pescara, and Genoa make him a strong candidate to anchor Beşiktaş’s midfield.

Negotiations with Fiorentina are expected to begin soon. Beşiktaş are reportedly considering both a permanent transfer and a loan deal with an option to buy, depending on the fee demanded by the Italian club.
