Özbek Rejects €125m Osimhen Bid, Demands €150m

Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has swiftly rejected a record €125 million offer for star forward Victor Osimhen, insisting that the club will only consider negotiations if a bid of €150 million or more is tabled.

The Nigerian striker, who has been linked with Europe’s biggest clubs including Real Madrid, Chelsea, PSG, Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, remains central to Galatasaray’s ambitions ahead of the new Süper Lig season.

According to reports in Sözcü, Özbek’s response to the €125m bid was immediate, reflecting the club’s determination to retain its attacking talisman unless a truly historic offer arrives.

‘We have no plans to part ways with Osimhen,’ Özbek had previously stated, underlining his importance to the squad.

Osimhen’s impact last season was undeniable. In 33 appearances, he scored 22 goals and provided 8 assists, cementing his reputation as one of Europe’s most lethal forwards.

Galatasaray secured his permanent transfer for €75 million after a successful loan spell in the 2024/25 campaign.
