‘Agent’ Osimhen Helps Convince Ugochukwu to Join Galatasaray

Galatasaray have reportedly reached an agreement with Burnley for the signing of French midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu, with Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen said to have played a significant role in convincing the player to join the Turkish champions.

The Istanbul club are expected to complete the move on an initial loan deal that includes an option to make the transfer permanent.

According to reports, negotiations between the two clubs have been successfully concluded, with only the final administrative details remaining before the deal is officially completed.

The agreement is understood to include a purchase option valued at approximately €26 million to €27 million, taking into account both the loan fee and the potential permanent transfer.

Reports also claim that Osimhen was actively involved in discussions with Ugochukwu during the negotiation process, encouraging the 22-year-old midfielder to choose Galatasaray ahead of other possible destinations.

The Nigeria international’s influence is believed to have been a key factor in the player’s decision to move to the Turkish Super Lig.

Ugochukwu, who is contracted to Burnley, is regarded as one of the promising young midfielders in European football. His arrival would strengthen Galatasaray’s midfield options as the club prepares for the new domestic and European campaigns.

The French midfielder is expected to complete the remaining formalities before travelling to Istanbul to finalise the transfer.
