No Arsenal Talks for Osimhen as Galatasaray Transfer Links Dismissed

Reports linking Victor Osimhen with a possible move to Arsenal have been dismissed, with no active negotiations taking place between the Gunners and Galatasaray for the Nigerian striker.

According to reports, Galatasaray’s contacts with Arsenal during the summer transfer window have centred mainly on Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli.

The Turkish champions reportedly made a €45 million offer for Martinelli, but the 25-year-old was not interested in the move.

The situation surrounding Osimhen is understood to be different. Despite media speculation about a possible Arsenal move for the Super Eagles striker, there have been no active talks or concrete negotiations between Arsenal and Galatasaray over his transfer.

Osimhen remains a key figure at Galatasaray, having become one of the club’s biggest attacking stars.

The latest development therefore appears to close the door, at least for now, on speculation that Arsenal could make a move for the Nigerian forward this summer.
