Broeders-Bol Expects Different Race In Budapest After Pushing Werro Close

Femke Broeders-Bol believes she can expect a completely different challenge when she faces Audrey Werro again in Budapest after coming agonisingly close to beating the Swiss star in the Diamond League Final in Brussels on Saturday.
Broeders-Bol clocked an impressive 1:54.81 to finish second behind Werro, who has dominated the women’s 800m this season.
Although the Belgian admitted she was frustrated at missing out on victory, she was encouraged by how close she came to Werro and said the Budapest race will present a different test.
‘I got really close this time to beat Audrey and to win, that I’m even a little bit frustrated. However, I can’t be anything else than happy with my performance,’ she said.
‘Now I’m looking forward to run in Budapest, but I believe that this will be a completely different type of race. We will see how it goes.’
