PSG Keep Osimhen On Radar Ahead of Possible 2027 Move

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly retained an interest in Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen despite failing to sign the Nigerian during the summer transfer window.

According to French journalist Stephane Roy, Osimhen’s name continues to circulate at the Parc des Princes, with the French champions still monitoring the Galatasaray forward.

Roy’s report, titled ‘Victor Osimhen is the target who refuses to be off PSG’s radar,’ claims that PSG had previously attempted to sign the striker but could not complete the deal.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently in the summer of 2025 for a reported €75 million and is contracted to the Turkish giants until 2029.

The French club’s interest could be revived next summer depending on developments in its attacking department, with a departure of one of its forwards potentially putting Osimhen back on the agenda.

Roy also believes PSG’s financial strength could give the club an advantage should it decide to pursue the Nigerian again.
However, Galatasaray are reportedly under no pressure to sell their prized striker and remain determined to keep him despite continued interest from major European clubs.

Osimhen’s performances could further strengthen his appeal to PSG. The 27-year-old has made an impressive start to the current season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in four appearances.
He also scored 22 goals and supplied eight assists in all competitions last season, underlining his importance to Galatasaray since his permanent move.

Roy noted that Osimhen’s pace, strength and effectiveness in the penalty area are considered compatible with PSG coach Luis Enrique’s footballing philosophy.
For now, Osimhen is reportedly focused on continuing his career with Galatasaray and achieving his sporting objectives with the Turkish champions.
