AC Milan agree €28m deal for Chukwueze

Italian news outlet, Calciomercato.com is reporting that Nigeria’s Villarreal winger, Samuel Chukwueze will be an AC Milan player latest next week after the LaLiga side and the Rossonneri reached an agreement for the transfer of the player.

According to the news outlet, the agreement was reached on Friday with AC Milan paying €25m as a fixed fee plus bonuses to reach €28m in total, with a five-year contract ready for the player.

The report says ‘only final last details are missing, but it is expected to be done over the weekend.’

AC Milan coach, Stefano Pioli looks set to get the right winger that he identified as the number one target at the start of the window.

Chukwueze scored 13 goals (his most in a season) and provided 11 assists (his most in a season) in 50 appearances (his most in a season) for Villarreal in the 2022/23 season.

Overall, the Nigerian has featured 207 for the Yellow Submarine, scored 37 goals and provided 31 assists with 21 of the goals and 18 of the assists achieved 155 LaLiga games.
