Antony bidding to set new goalscoring record for Manchester United

Brazilian attacker Antony will be looking to become the first player to score in his first three Premier League appearances for Manchester United when the Red Devils face Everton on Sunday evening at Goodison Park.

Anthony who scored 24 times and bagged 22 assists in 82 appearances for Ajax before moving to England has scored in his first two league appearances for Ten Hag’s and will make a club history if he scores on Sunday.

Antony scored on his debut for the Red Devils against Arsenal in their 3-1 win at Old Trafford. He scored the opening goal of the game on 35 minutes.

The Brazilian was on target again in his second Premier League game for the club, netting one of the Red Devils’ consolation goals in the 6-3 hammerring they suffered in the hands of city rivlas, Manchester City.

Manchester United will be looking to bounce back in the league following their run of four successive victories ended by Manchester City but are facing a side they have only beaten once in their last seven games.
