Bristol City Vs Leicester City: Iheanacho seeking for first Sky Bet Championship goal since October!

Kelechi Iheanacho will be hoping he gets gaffer, Enzo Maresca’s nod to feature for Leicester City for the second time in 2024 when the forces take on Bristol City on Friday afternoon.

The Nigerian has featured just once this year in the competition, playing the final 12 minutes of the Foxes’ 1-0 win Sunderland.

Prior to that, he featured for 27 minutes in the 1-1 at Ipswich Town but has not started again since he featured for 90 minutes in Leicester City’s 2-1 at West Brom early December 2023.

The 27 year old has not scored for the club since he netted the third goal in the 3-1 win at Swansea City in October 2023.

Prior to that, Iheanacho has netted in his three previous games and has scored five goals and provided one assist in his first 12 games of his first season in the Sky Bet Championship following Leicester City’s relegation from the Premier League last season.

Iheanacho has featured eight times for the Foxes after that, starting four of the games.

If he features at Bristol City, it will be his 230th appearance for the Foxes since he joined from Manchester City in 2017.
