Chelle Urges NFF to Resolve Contract Issues, Eyes Unity Cup Preparations

Nigeria’s national team head coach Eric Chelle has urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to resolve outstanding issues regarding his contract, stressing that he wants to concentrate fully on his work with the Super Eagles.
Speaking to journalist Osasu Obayiuwana, Chelle acknowledged that financial matters remain unsettled but emphasized that his agent is handling negotiations with the federation.
‘Yes, there are financial issues to be discussed and resolved. But I leave them to my agent to handle with the federation. I want to concentrate on the job and the task at hand,’ Chelle said.
The coach revealed plans to travel to Nigeria to watch Nigeria Premier Football League matches as part of his player scouting program.
He also highlighted preparations for the upcoming Unity Cup in London, which will serve as a key fixture for the Super Eagles.
‘I am coming to Nigeria to watch some NPFL games and see some players. And we have the Unity Cup in London to prepare for’, he told Obayiuwana.
In recent weeks, Chelle has been in France completing his coaching recertification courses to keep his credentials up to date.
