Christian Vieri: ‘Lukaku Can’t Be Compared To Osimhen’
Former Inter forward Christian Vieri feels comparisons between Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and Inter Milan forward, Romelu Lukaku are wide of the mark, and that Lukaku could not make the same impact as the Nigeria international.
“He is physically heavier than Osimhen. The Belgian was dominant two years ago with Conte. This season, without he is struggling to find the physical form and pace of the match.
“But he cannot be compared to Osimhen because the Nigerian has different characteristics in the expression of the game.”
Lukaku has scored three times in 13 games across all competitions for Inter Milan with two of the goals coming in 11 appearances in the Serie A.
Osimhen has scored 19 goals in 23 matches across all competitions for Napoli. The 24 year old Nigerian scored 18 of the goals in 19 Serie A games leads in the top scorer’s race, five ahead of his nearest callenger, Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez with Ademola Lookman of Atalanta third with 12 goals.
