Eintracht Frankfurt join Union Berlin in race for Victor Boniface

Eintracht Frankfurt have become the latest European club linked with a move for Union Saint Gilloise of Belgium Nigerian forward, Victor Boniface.

According to Frankfurter Rundschau, Frankfurt are the second team in the German Bundesliga after Union Berlin to express interest in Boniface.

Frankfurt are looking to sign the Nigerian because of the possible departures of Lucas Alario and Rafael Santos Borré.

Union Berlin are also interested in Boniface after he scored twice against them in the Europa League round of 16 ties between them and USG.

The 22-year-old is currently contracted at USG until 2026 and is valued at €6m.

He has scored 19 times and bagged eight assists in 43 games across all competitions for the Belgian side this season with seven of the goals coming in 27 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League.
