Flamingos Face Brazil Test In FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Semi-Final
Nigeria Seek First Victory Over Brazil As They Battle For A Place In The Final

Nigeria’s Flamingos will face Brazil in the semi-final of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026 on Wednesday, November 4, with a place in the final at stake.
The encounter is scheduled for 7pm at Pitch 3 of the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Rabat, Morocco.
The historical head-to-head record favours Brazil, who have won once and drawn twice in three previous meetings with Nigeria, while the Flamingos are yet to record a victory against the South Americans.
Their most recent meeting was at the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan, where Brazil defeated Nigeria 1-0 in a Group C encounter on October 1.
The teams had previously played out a 2-2 draw in the group stage of the 2008 edition in New Zealand on November 5.
Nigeria will therefore be seeking their first win over Brazil in their fourth meeting, with Wednesday’s semi-final offering the Flamingos an opportunity to make history and move within one victory of the world title.
