Frankfurt Submit Bid for Club Brugge Midfielder Raphael Onyedika

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt have submitted an official bid for Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika as they seek to sign him from Belgian champions Club Brugge.
The 25-year-old midfielder is entering the final year of his contract with Club Brugge and has reportedly rejected an offer to extend his stay, increasing uncertainty over his future.
Onyedika has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Turkish champions Galatasaray and several Premier League sides.
However, Frankfurt have now made a formal move for the Super Eagles midfielder, with negotiations between the German club and Club Brugge reportedly underway ahead of the new season.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that talks between the two clubs are ongoing as Frankfurt explore the possibility of securing Onyedika’s signature.
The Nigerian international joined Club Brugge from Danish side FC Midtjylland in 2022 and has since played an important role in the club’s success.
During his time in Belgium, Onyedika has won two league titles, the Belgian Cup and the Belgian Super Cup.
