Galatasaray Insist: ‘We Have No Intention of Selling Osimhen’

Galatasaray have officially confirmed the future of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, ending weeks of speculation linking him to Europe’s biggest clubs.
Club president Dursun Özbek addressed the rumors in an interview with Sabah, stating: ‘It is very natural for every player who is successful in Galatasaray to be on the radar of important clubs in Europe.
‘This shows that our club is doing the right things. However, our priority is the interest of Galatasaray. Osimhen is a world‑class player and he is happy here. We have no intention of selling Osimhen.’
The announcement comes after weeks of speculation that clubs across Europe were preparing bids for the prolific forward.
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray as a marquee signing, has quickly become one of the most talked‑about players in Turkish football.
Last season, Osimhen featured in 33 matches, scoring 22 goals and providing 8 assists, cementing his reputation as one of the most dangerous strikers in the league.
His performances have not only fueled Galatasaray’s domestic ambitions but also drawn attention from scouts across the continent.
