Governor Mbah Rewards Enugu Rangers with N150m Bonus and Land Plots for NPFL Triumph

Enugu State Governor, Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has announced a landmark reward package for Enugu Rangers FC following their triumph in the 2025/26 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
The Flying Antelopes, who clinched the league title in emphatic fashion, will share a cash prize of ₦100,000,000 among the players, while the management team will receive ₦50,000,000.
In addition, Governor Mbah has granted Certificates of Occupancy for plots of land in Enugu to both players and management, a gesture that underscores his administration’s commitment to supporting sporting excellence.
Speaking during the celebratory announcement, the Governor assured that the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium will undergo significant upgrades ahead of Rangers’ participation in the CAF Champions League.
He also confirmed preparations for the Coal City Games 2026, a sports festival designed to further showcase Enugu’s rich sporting culture.
