Rivers United’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 9 encounter against Barau FC has been postponed until Monday after heavy rainfall rendered the pitch at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt unplayable.

The match was halted in the 75th minute on Sunday, with the score still goalless, as the downpour left the playing surface waterlogged.

Following consultations, match officials confirmed that the remaining 15 minutes, plus any additional time, would be played from 8am on Monday, October 19, 2026.
