Iheanacho seeks first Leicester City start in four and a half months!

Kelechi Iheanacho will be hoping he gets back to reckoning Tuesday evening for Leicester City when the Foxes play Joe Aribo’s Southampton in a crucial Sky Bet Championship game at the King Power stadium.

The former Man City forward has not started for Leicester City since he featured for all 90 minutes in his club’s 2-1 away win at West Brom at the start of last December and has not the matchday squad in the last two games and has played just 17 minutes of football in the Foxes’ last five games.

Iheanacho will however prays he gets a look in against a club he has scored the second most goals against (4) in English football after Crystal Palace (5).

The Nigerian has featured just 22 times for the promotion-chasing Leicester City in his first season in the Sky Bet Championship but has started just 10 of the games.

He has been subbed on on 12 ocassions to make it 128 imes he has been subbed on in the league (Premier League and Sky Bet Championship) in England. He has been left on the bench 77 times since he made his senior debut for Manchester City in 2015.
