Ikpeme Charges Flamingos To Target FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Podium

Acting NFF General Secretary Emmanuel Ikpeme has charged Nigeria’s Flamingos to carry their winning mentality into the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
Ikpeme praised the team for their impressive campaign at the WAFU-B U-17 Girls Cup in Côte d’Ivoire, where they represented Nigeria strongly.
He urged the players to maintain the same determination at the World Cup and target a place on the podium.
Captain Harmony Chidi, speaking on behalf of the team, assured the NFF and Nigerians that the Flamingos would not disappoint.
She said the players were determined to repay the confidence placed in them by the federation and the country when the tournament begins on October 17.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup will run in Morocco until November 8.
