Kelechi Iheanacho is 23rd Eagle in AFCON camp in Abuja

Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has also arrived the Super Eagles Abuja camp Tuesday as preparations continue for the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations which starts Sunday in Cameroun.
The 25 year old breezed into camp barely 90 minutes after his Leicester City teammate Wilfred Ndidi led seven others into the team’s camp in Abuja.
Iheanacho’s arrival has brought the total number of players in camp to 23 with five more players expected.
The Leicester City forward will be making his debut in the competition after he was left out of the 32nd edition three years ago in Egypt by former coach of the team, Gernot Rohr.
Meanwhile the Super Eagles are expected to jet out to Garoua, Cameroun via an Air Peace aircraft on Wednesday evening.
The Super Eagles will play all their group D games in Garoua starting with the game against the Pharaohs of Egypt next Tuesday January 11,2022.
