Lookman now Nigeria’s second most valuable player as Osimhen’s value drops

Ademola Lookman is now the second most valuable Nigerian player with Victor Boniface following the update of the Serie A market value by transfermarkt.

The Nigerian, whose hat-trick ensured Atlanta not only ended Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run across all competitions but also gave the Bergamo-based club the Europa League title.

Lookman has seen his value rise by €10m to €40m from the €30 it was last December. The 26 year old is also Atlanta’s third most valuable player.

He is ranked number 17 among all players in the Serie A and 147 among all players worldwide. He is however number one among all players playing as ‘second striker’ and 22 among all players born in 1997.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen has seen his value dropped by €10m to €100m which means he is now ranked number 1 among all players in the Serie A, behind Inter Milan’s Argentina striker, Lautaro Martinez.

The 25 year old is however still the top ranked Nigerian and among all Napoli players.

He has dropped to number 13 in the world.
