Nigeria Vs Tunisia: Okoye returns in goal for Super Eagles

Ola Aina,Sanusi, Chukwueze, Awoniyi also included in teamto start vs Tunisia

Super Eagles first choice goalie Maduka Okoye is back in goal as Nigeria battles Tunisia for a place in the quarterfinals of the ongoing 33rd Africa Cup of Nations.

Okoye who is making his third appearance in the competition was rested in the Super Eagles final group game against Guinea-Bissau last Wednesday.

He has kept one clean sheet and conceeded once in the two games he has featured in and will be hoping for another clean sheet against the Covid-19 ravaged Tunisians.

Also back in the team are defenders Ola Aina, Zaidu Sanusi and Kenneth Omeruo who is making his 14th start in 15 appearances in the competition.

Forwards Taiwo Awoniyi and Samuel Chukwueze are also back in the starting line up after they were both rested last mid-week.

While Awoniyi will be making his third appearance in the competition, Chukwueze is making his seventh start in nine appearances.

The 22 year old is also eyeing is third AFCON goal.

Super Eagles vice captain William Troost-Ekong is making his 10th start in 10 games across two AFCON final tournaments.
