Nnamdi breaks 23 year old Nigerian javelin record

Prosper Nnamdi is the new national record holder in the javelin throw.                                                                                    The World U20 bronze medal winner threw 81.22m to break Pius Bazighe’s 23 year old Nigerian record.                                                                                                 Last month, Nnamdi was just a centimetre shy of the 81.08m record set by Bazighe in 1999 and the U20 athlete was ripped to go for the record at the NCAA West Regional Championship going on in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
