Not For Sale: Galatasaray Confirms Osimhen Will Stay, Secures Full Funding for Nigerian Star

Galatasaray has officially made a final decision regarding the future of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, confirming that the club will not consider selling him despite strong interest from European giants including Arsenal.

According to reports, head coach Okan Buruk is planning for the upcoming season with Osimhen firmly at the centre of his squad.

The club’s management has already secured the financial arrangements necessary to retain the player, who earns €21 million per season.

Abdullah Kavukcu, set to assume the role of vice president at Sportif AŞ, has prepared the funds to cover Osimhen’s wages.

Galatasaray will directly pay €15 million from club revenues, while the remaining €6 million will be covered through sponsorship agreements tied to Osimhen’s image rights for the 2026/2027 season.

The Yellow and Reds have also confirmed that box office and GS Store revenues will continue to support the timely payment of Osimhen’s salary.

In addition, the club completed all installments of the striker’s €75 million transfer fee in March, ensuring that financial obligations are fully settled.
