Onyedinma Signs New Wycombe Wanderers Contract Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed that winger Fred Onyedinma has signed a new contract, extending his stay with the Chairboys ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The 29-year-old, who scooped both the Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards in May after scoring 10 goals in a standout campaign, returned for pre-season testing with his teammates at Marlow Road on Thursday morning before putting pen to paper on the new deal.
Onyedinma’s relationship with Wycombe stretches back over a decade.
He first joined the club on loan from Millwall in 2014 as a teenager, returned for another spell in 2018, and made a permanent move in 2019. After three years with Luton Town, he rejoined Wycombe in 2024, quickly re-establishing himself as a key figure in the squad.
His new contract ensures that his story with the Wanderers continues into another chapter, with the upcoming League One season set to kick off away at Blackpool on Saturday, August 15.
Wycombe officials hailed the deal as a major boost, securing the future of a player who has become both a fan favourite and a leader in the dressing room.
